Environmental Manager (GIS) - PA We are seeking a full-time candidate with a strong background in Geographic Information Systems to manage our GIS/Environmental Site Assessment Program. Applicants must have at least 5 years of professional experience, be well organized and maintain positive working relationships with clients. Applicants must be able to perform spatial analysis, geodatabase design and maintenance, create metadata and collect information utilizing GPS field equipment. Knowledge of AutoCad, WindPro, performing ASTM Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments and having the geographic information systems professional certification (GISP) is a plus. Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Civil Project Engineer – PA or CA
We are seeking a candidate with a excellent communication skills to design and manage our civil engineering projects. This person will be required manage the technical aspects of engineering projects. Will be required to plan and direct medium to large sized projects for renewable energy, utility, government, and land development clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful projects, with a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- BS Degree in civil or environmental Engineering (MS is a plus).
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- 6+ years of experience
- Excellent verbal / written communication skills
- Experience dealing with clients directly
- Experience in managing budgets
- Demonstrated career growth in civil engineering for a consulting firm
- Excelent AutoCad Civil3D knowledge.
- Prior experience working in renewable energy is a plus
Environmental Planner/GIS Analyst – CA
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in Environmental Planning and excellent GIS skills to help plan and direct medium to large size environmental planning and design projects for renewable energy, utility, government, and land development clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparation, planning, and analysis/review of technical studies, permit applications, NEPA/CEQA/other State environmental compliance documents as well as the ability to produce sophisticated maps, calculations, reports, imagery, and related GIS products in support of these documents. Although this person may serve as project manager on some projects, project management is not the sole focus of the position.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- BS Degree minimum (MS preferred) in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in NEPA/CEQA environmental planning, alternative energy project experience is a plus
- Experience in and understanding of natural resource sciences, utilities, and renewable energy is preferred.
- Extensive experience with ArcView and extensions.
- Excellent technical writing, public speaking and verbal / written communication skills
- Experience dealing with clients directly; business development skills and abilities
- Demonstrated career growth in environmental planning for a consulting firm
- Experience in creating maps and figure specific for environmental reports and permit applications.
- Basic AutoCad knowledge and the ability to work with AutoCAD files in GIS software.
- Prior experience working in renewable energy or within a government agency is a plus
- Listing on agency approved consultant lists is a plus
